Every field still has barrels to give. Enhanced oil recovery, marginal blocks, integrated oilfield services: we go and get them.
The majors hunt the elephant. We recover the barrels they leave behind.
On fields already discovered and a subsurface already known, enhanced oil recovery turns the forgotten into a reservoir of value — producing more while investing less.
EnerTchad’s Exploration & Production is not looking for new elephants: it reopens the mature fields and marginal blocks the majors consider too small. Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) with local inputs and integrated oilfield services (OFS) — producing more while spending less, on assets already known in the Chadian subsurface.

The Exploration & Production chain
Four steps, four pages: the sequence a barrel follows before it enters the pipe.

What you gain
Exploration & Production · At the service of operators
Exploration & Production serves those who hold and operate the resource — with a single point of contact from seismic to EOR.
Who it is for
Block holders and authorities, facing mature fields and neglected marginal blocks.
Our answer
From seismic to enhanced oil recovery, a single point of contact, consortium structuring on open blocks.
The targeted gain
Extended production and a barrel captured with less capital.
Our approach
Five principles guide every decision of the pole — from the first gigabyte of seismic to the last barrel recovered. A method designed for a landlocked country, mature reservoirs and capital that is counted.
Before any heavy commitment: re-interpretation of public data, targeted seismic where uncertainty runs high, reservoir model. The decision to invest is taken on measured facts, never on a geological bet.
Mature fields, marginal blocks, wells to re-enter: priority goes to the barrels reachable fast and at lower CAPEX, at the pace of capital raises — no megaproject, self-financed stages.
From earthworks to the pump, eight OFS services and ten well intervention lines under a single point of contact: fewer interfaces, faster mobilisation, a barrel cost controlled end to end.
Local inputs — natron, lime, gum arabic, neem —, Chadian teams trained through Tchaditude, national subcontracting: every barrel produced strengthens the economy around it.
Every pilot is instrumented: recovery factor, OPEX per barrel, HSE indicators. What works is replicated from well to well; what disappoints is stopped early, before it drains capital.
Use cases · Exploration & Production
Five concrete situations from Chad’s oil sector, and how EnerTchad intends to answer them — as targets, at the pace of the stages.
Challenge
A reservoir in the Doba/Bongor basins is losing pressure and flow rate.
EnerTchad response
Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) with local inputs — natron-based ASP, digital reservoir monitoring.
Target
+8 to 17% recovery factor targeted
Challenge
A block judged too small by the majors sits undeveloped.
EnerTchad response
Frugal take-over + integrated oilfield services (OFS) force under a single contract.
Target
Fast production on low initial capital
Challenge
The subsurface is poorly characterised: investing means betting.
EnerTchad response
Targeted seismic, re-interpretation of public data and de-risking models.
Target
Deciding before committing capital
Challenge
Well histories are dispersed — paper, silos, mismatched formats.
EnerTchad response
Digitisation and a unified reservoir model, real-time production dashboard.
Target
Running the field on reliable data
Challenge
Closing an end-of-life well is a cost that is often overlooked.
EnerTchad response
Abandonment plans from the design stage and reuse of existing infrastructure.
Target
Life cycle under control · abandonment cost provisioned
