Indicative map landmarks for teaching purposes — simplified positions and areas. Data drawn from public sources on the Chadian oil sector; EnerTchad (a company in formation) offers an independent reading of it and owns none of these assets. Latest dated landmark: a Chad–Algeria framework agreement signed on 22 April 2026 opens the study of a second refinery of around 20,000 b/d — at the preliminary-study stage, with no site announced.
