Equipment fleet & hire

Nine families of deployable equipment — from the wellhead separator to the camp — and three contractual ways to access them. This page answers a question we are asked often: “can you supply us with the equipment?”

How to access it

Three ways to work with our fleet.

EnerTchad is not an equipment rental company: our business is integrated oilfield operations. But not every need calls for the same arrangement, and it would be dishonest to answer “no” to an operator that already has its own crews. Here are the three possible frameworks, from the most integrated to the most autonomous.

Reference arrangement

Service contract

EnerTchad’s default model: we mobilise the equipment and the crew, and we commit to an outcome — a well brought on stream, a volume treated, a pad delivered. You buy a service, not a machine.

  • Commitment to results, not to means
  • Crew, consumables, maintenance and HSE included
  • Billing on performance or on a lump-sum job basis
  • One point of contact, one line of accountability
Recommended for well operations and turnkey jobs
Intermediate arrangement

Hire with operator

The equipment arrives with its EnerTchad operators, but the job stays under your coordination. You run the programme; we answer for the machine, its operation and its availability.

  • Machine + qualified crew, billed by the day or by the shift
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance at our expense
  • Shared availability report and hour meter
  • Your supervisor sets the site priorities
Suited to operators with their own site supervision
Restricted arrangement

Bare hire, without operator

Available on part of the fleet only, and under strict conditions. We check your qualifications, your HSE procedures and your insurance cover beforehand, prior to any transfer of custody.

  • Reserved for non-critical equipment and qualified clients
  • Prior HSE audit and verification of certifications
  • Joint condition survey on release and on return
  • Insurance, fuel and consumables at your expense
Assessed case by case — we decline when safety conditions are not met

Why this framework? Badly operated oilfield equipment is not merely unproductive: it is dangerous, both for the crews and for the reservoir. The service contract remains our reference arrangement because it places the skill and the machine under the same accountability.

We assess every hire request, and we say no when safety, qualification or insurance conditions are not met.

The fleet, family by family

Nine families, one job site.

A well is not brought on stream with a single machine, but with a coherent set: the power that feeds the pump, the crane that sets the separator, the track that lets the truck through, and the camp that keeps the crew on site. EnerTchad builds its fleet family by family, in step with the jobs under contract.

01

Capture, storage & separation

The fleet described in detail on the Services page: mobile three-phase separators, 500 bbl frac tanks, vacuum tankers, roll-off skips, ISO tank containers and double-walled tanks.

  • Mobile three-phase separator — 20-foot skid
  • Towable 500 bbl frac tank and road-approved trailer version
  • 130 bbl vacuum tanker · roll-off skip
  • 26 m³ ISO tank container · double-walled tank
7 models described · see the capture fleet
02

Site power

No upstream job starts without its power. Containerised gensets, distribution boards, lighting towers and diesel tanks sized for autonomy in remote areas.

  • Containerised gensets, synchronisable
  • Distribution boards and site cabling
  • Mobile lighting towers for night work
  • Bunded diesel tanks with consumption monitoring
Sized to the load and the target autonomy
03

Pumping & fluids

Transfer, filter, meter. From crude transfer between tanks to EOR input injection, by way of produced-water filtration.

  • Transfer pumps and vacuum pumps
  • High-pressure units for stimulation and testing
  • Filtration and water-treatment skids
  • Dosing units for chemical inputs
Compatible with the locally-sourced EOR chain
04

Lifting & handling

Setting a skid, unloading a container, erecting a surface structure. Lifting is the bottleneck of every remote job; it is treated as critical equipment.

  • Truck cranes for setting skids and tanks
  • All-terrain telehandlers
  • Hook-lift arms for roll-off skips
  • Certified and inspected lifting accessories
Periodic inspection and inspection register kept up to date
05

Earthworks & roads

Site construction is one of EnerTchad’s eight oilfield services. The machines that carry it out belong to the same fleet: pads, access tracks, pits and site restoration.

  • Hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders
  • Graders and compactors for access tracks
  • Dump trucks and water bowsers
  • End-of-life site rehabilitation equipment
Linked to the Site & pad construction service
06

Mobile workshops & maintenance

Repair on site rather than stand equipment down. Fitted-out workshop containers, welding stations, non-destructive testing means and a stock of wear parts.

  • Mechanical and hydraulic workshop containers
  • Welding and cutting stations
  • Non-destructive testing means (NDT)
  • Wear-parts store forward-deployed on site
Feeds the Integrity & robotics service
07

Measurement, testing & control

What is not measured is not managed. Well test units, metering, instrumentation and telemetry connected to the digital field.

  • Well testing units and test separators
  • Crude, gas and water metering downstream of separation
  • Sensors, site SCADA and telemetry
  • Downhole diagnostics and measurement tools
Feeds into the L1-L4 digital-field stack
08

Camps & site support

A remote job site is also a place where people live. Accommodation, catering, sanitation, water treatment and a medical post shape performance as much as the machines do.

  • Accommodation and office modules
  • Containerised kitchen, mess hall and sanitary units
  • Drinking-water production and treatment
  • Medical post and medevac means
Sized to the headcount and the duration of the job
09

Fleet transport & logistics

Moving the fleet is a trade in its own right in Chad, where the rainy season closes whole tracks. Mobilisation logistics are planned like an operation.

  • Machinery transporters and low-loader trailers
  • Road tanker trucks
  • 4×4 escort and liaison vehicles
  • Seasonal planning of access windows
Coordinated with the Transport & Storage pole · Doba ↔ Kribi corridor

From enquiry to job site

Six steps, two of them before equipment is even discussed.

Most bad mobilisations are decided before the first truck arrives. So we begin by understanding the operation, not by listing equipment references.

  1. Statement of needYou describe the operation, the duration and the site. We answer on feasibility before discussing equipment.
  2. SizingOur engineers settle the configuration: capacities, redundancy, power, camp and the associated crew.
  3. Offer & arrangementYou receive the priced scope and the appropriate contractual arrangement — service, with operator, or restricted bare hire.
  4. MobilisationTransport, setting, hook-up and commissioning on site, with an access schedule that accounts for the season.
  5. Operation & reportingAvailability tracking, preventive maintenance, periodic reports and production-data feedback.
  6. DemobilisationCondition survey, cleaning, effluent removal and site restoration — end of job is part of the contract.

What comes with the machine

A piece of equipment is also a file.

On an oilfield site, the value of a piece of equipment lies as much in its traceability as in its specifications. Four commitments accompany every hire, whichever arrangement is chosen.

Maintenance & availability

A preventive maintenance plan per item, a shared hour meter, and a committed response time in the event of breakdown. Availability is measured, not promised.

History kept over the whole life of the asset

HSE-Q & compliance

Periodic inspections up to date, inspection registers available, lock-out procedures and job-specific risk assessments handed over before work starts.

Aligned with the company HSE-Q framework

Operators trained in Chad

The fleet’s drivers and technicians are trained by Tchaditude. Every mobilisation is also an opportunity to transfer a skill that stays in the country.

Local content: the skill does not leave with the machine

Traceability & reporting

Periodic availability, consumption and incident reports, fed into the same digital stack as production data.

To be clear

What we do not do.

Better written here than discovered mid-negotiation.

─ No catalogue rental. We do not publish a daily rate per item: every hire is sized for a specific operation, on a specific site.

─ No transfer of custody without qualification. No critical equipment — lifting, pressure, power electrics — leaves without an EnerTchad operator.

─ No commitment beyond our current capacity. EnerTchad is a company in formation: the fleet is built at the pace of the jobs under contract. We will tell you frankly what is available, what can be mobilised within a lead time, and what would call for a partnership to be set up.
